Culinary Courtyard - Chicago, IL

This Culinary Courtyard is every cook's dream! Our clients had a newly constructed home in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood, and it gave us a chance to highlight our engineering, construction and design skills. They wanted an outdoor kitchen for the everyday occasion that was both above the garage and also off of the main living area. The other island was to be situated on the roof for special occasions as a way to enjoy the skyline on those beautiful Chicago evenings. We engineered both kitchens to be structurally sound and yet independently designed of one another. Even with both kitchens, it was important that we put time into constructing walls, copings and the like. We also planted some gardens that just dance with color. This project was definitely a success on many levels.
