Yes, we do offer premium landscape maintenance service. From the annual Spring/Fall cleanups to the full service maintenance plan, we do it all. We pride ourselves in providing our clients with outstanding service throughout our 9 month service plan. Our services include, but are not limited to: seasonal displays, fertilization options for lawn and garden, composting/perennial care, seasonal trimming, renewal pruning, aeration, lawn care and so on. We love what we create. Our design staff is not only responsible for meeting you and designing your garden, but everything else that goes into your project. We want to make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire process. You may see a few friendly faces through the process, but the designer will always remain a constant on your job-site. Our goal is to make your yard the favorite room on your property.
As a small, local business, we have a large respect for those who are in business around us. We support local growers / suppliers and work hard to maintain local relationships.
We build almost everything for the outdoors: terraces, natural stone retaining walls, walkways, steps, porches, stoops, landscape carpentry, irrigation systems, fireplaces and outdoor kitchens to name a few. We work closely with pool contractors, electricians and plumbers to help us provide those services we can’t.
We love small gardens; it tests our ability to be creative and use space efficiently. We love large gardens; it lets us experiment with new ideas and spread our wings. We’ve worked on everything from rooftop gardens in downtown Chicago to large estates in Lake Forest.
Yes. Like all other design disciplines, we charge for our design services as our time is valuable. The investment guarantees our commitment to you and your commitment to us.
All of O’Brien & Co.’s landscape plans are hand drawn designs. Hand drawn plans allow us not only to be creative, but also give us a chance to think in depth about your project. These are not template design ideas, but a scaled representation of your property’s possibilities and solutions. This plan will be a road map for your outdoor space.
A well-designed landscape adds value to your home while creating outdoor living rooms. Our goal is to build beautiful spaces while creating a visual experience for your enjoyment that carries through all four seasons.
We will schedule a time to visit with you at your residence to hear your thoughts, combine ideas and get a feel for your outdoor space. Once your wants and needs are finalized, we will decide what design approach is best suited for you. Sometimes a drawn design is in order. Other times a simple walkthrough and verbal explanation is all that’s needed to move a project forward. A quotation detailing the proposed project will follow once the design approach is decided.
